“Remember the Ladies…”
Apparently some people are interested in having a baby boom right now. We took to Abigail Adams's girlhood home with a few ideas of what might help make that happen; basically, respect women.
"If particular care and attention is not paid to the Ladies we are determined to foment a Rebellion, and will not hold ourselves bound by any Laws in which we have no voice, or Representation." - Abigail Adams, March 31, 1776
Abigail Adams was a revolutionary among revolutionaries. In 1776 she called for women's rights, representation in government, and education. She knew that women's education was crucial to a healthy democracy, and that supporting mothers would foster a future of informed and moral Americans.
